The Woodbine School District is for students in pre-school (full day early childhood through to 3 and 4-year old students) through sixth grade. Currently, the school has an enrollment of 215 students. The students from Woodbine Elementary School attend the Millville High School, the Cape May Co
unty Vocational school as well as private and charter schools for secondary education.
The district is known for the compassion of its teachers and the high standards it achieves in its educational programming. The district has a computer lab along with laptop computers and Smart Boards available for classroom use.
Character education remains an integral component of classroom instruction, building upon good character traits and kindness. The school works closely with families and community organizations, such as Caring for Kids, Een Start and Foster Grandparents to psoitively reinforce values and social skills. The Woodbine Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is an active group involved in supporting the education of all children.
The recent $4M renovation to the school included a new gymnasium, library, tech lab, solar panels, refurbished classrooms, auditorium and cafeteria all powered by a 278KW solar array.
